How it works

1. Send us your advertisement

   Your wording, your image, your link. Write it yourself or tell us roughly what you want and we’ll tidy it up. Nothing is paid at this stage.

2. We review it

   We check the business, the wording, the image rights and the link, and come back to you if anything needs changing.

3. We confirm and you pay

   We confirm the group and the publication date in writing, then send payment details for the $10.

4. It goes live

   Posted to the agreed group, clearly identified as paid advertising. We send you the link to the published post. Parents contact you directly.

House rules

• Every placement is reviewed and approved before payment, and clearly identified as paid advertising once posted. Nothing goes up as though it came from a member.
• No identifiable children in advertisements, and no private family information. Any image you send must be one you have the rights to use.
• Advertisements must be accurate. No unsupported “background checked” or “guaranteed placement” claims, and anything involving children’s care or safety must be properly licensed and insured.
• Job vacancies should describe duties and genuine requirements — experience, availability, driving, languages needed for the role. Wording that filters on age, race, nationality, sex, religion or disability will be sent back.
• Joining the group does not authorise advertisers to message members or to receive their membership answers. We never pass member details, intake answers or contact lists to an advertiser.
• Greenwich Nannies doesn’t vet or endorse advertisers. Families deal with businesses directly and should do their own checks.
• Placements are subject to Facebook’s own rules as well as ours, and we may decline anything that isn’t a fit for the community.
